[Middlegen-user] Adding finders merge point for custom finders

I understand that a finders merge point has been added to middlegen and
it merges the finders....xml file fine but DOES NOT generate the
ejb:finder xdoclet tags in the generated bean class and thus not in the
home interface, so how exactly is this supposed to be used so that it
also generates the Home finder methods in addition to including the code
in the ejb-jar.xml.

Please explain

Then you have misunderstood. It's XDoclet (the CVS version) that does this
merging. Middlegen knows nothing about it. Marcus Brito (XDoclet developer)
added this feature.

I don't know. Haven't tried it. Ask for help on xdoclet-user.

The feature became obsolete because XDoclet has a way of doing this, see:

But the merge point for finders on XDoclet has been made to add finders to a bean for which you have no source, and you need to declare its finders.

Aslak, can you give us a help, please...

I also need this feature implemented on Middlegen... This feature request should by open!
