You can get them via CVS. The latest release is 1.0, and it dates back
to February 10th. Just specify that date when you use CVS to update,
and you'll get what you want. (I didn't make a tag back then). The
exact CVS command? Don't remember. Read the CVS manual.

Somehow with the latest release I did the ant build to try
the software and it gives me that error message
of "taskdef: class middlegen.MiddlegenTask cannot be
found".

Sounds like a general Ant related CLASSPATH problem.
