[Middlegen-user] Middlegen error : Meddlegen Task not found

Thank you for your response,

We are using MiddleGen 1.0, Ant 1.5.4 and JBoss 4.0.0.
We tried like this

set classpath =;
And we checked the classpath by
echo %classpath%
It gave no values. By this we confirmed that classpath is empty.
After that we tried the command Ant like below

c:\Middlegen\samples>ant

it gave the same error like

C:\MiddleGen\samples>ant
Buildfile: build.xml

middlegen:

BUILD FAILED
file:C:/MiddleGen/samples/build.xml:112: taskdef class
middlegen.MiddlegenTask cannot be found

Total time: 1 second

Kindly, suggest a way to work with Middlegen,

Hi..
We are newbie to the world of Middlegen. We are trying to use Middlegen
to develop EJB components. We downloaded Middlegen Binary files and
through installation procedure as per the Middlegen Home Page. But
getting the following error.
C:\MiddleGen\samples>ant
Buildfile: build.xml
BUILD FAILED
file:C:/MiddleGen/samples/build.xml:112: taskdef class
middlegen.MiddlegenTask c
annot be found
Total time: 1 second
Please suggest a quick solution.

Seems you have a problem with your classpath. Make sure your classpath is
empty before you start..
What version of Middlegen is this? And have you made any changes to the
default structure?

Download the Middlegen 2.0 beta 1 instead.. Or you could try to get this
one that I built for the JavaZone conference in Oslo (includes the
VALUEOBJECT_REFACTORING_BRANCH from cvs):

Hi all,

We Succeeded to create EJB components using MiddleGen 1.0. But it didn't
provide the screen which is presented in the Middlegen site. It is
giving some other screen with a file menu like

File>Import Tables

Generate EJB components
DataBase Settings
Set Default directory

But if i want to create the stuff for Struts,JDO and JSP, i couldn't get
the GUI.

Kindly, help me to work with Middlegen 1.0 or Middlegen 1.2

Get a newer version. Either the 2.0 beta 1 from sf.net:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/middlegen/middlegen-2.0-b1.zip?download

Or get from cvs, if you want value-object support you could try
downloading this one:
