Good morning all,

I am starting a new project this morning and would *very* much like to use
Middlegen out of the gate. I am *very* confused as to where to do to get a
stable version however.

Could someone please let me know:

- Download location (SF seems out of date)
- Else CVS location (

Hi!
Any other information for a new project would be much appreciated.
We are just finishing an application where we used Middlegen to generate CMP:s,
value objects and session facades.

We used the VALUEOBJECT_REFACTORING_BRANCH checked out from Sourceforge.
This branch can handle relations in VO:s.

We had to do some modification to the auto generated facade to handle the
relations (we used the files Middlegen generated as a starting point), but the
CMP:s and value objects are auto generated.

If Middlegen was able to handle relations in a smarter way in the session facade
and the value objects, it would be perfect. But it helped us a lot anyhow.

Good luck!

The VALUEOBJECT_REFACTORING_BRANCH from Sourceforge cvs is the latest
working version we have right now.

In the next week I'll probably be merging this branch into the MAIN branch
at sourceforge, to get a working version out while Middlegen3 is being
developed at codehaus..

Thank you very much for the info.

And, by the way, thanks for Middlegen. Your work is much appreciated!

Thank you for your hint, got it working now!

Sorry for my multiple posting. It helps to configure procmail the right
way to sort mails only to existing maildirs ;-)

Regards,

Chris
